There’s nothing quite like learning from the best. We find a lot of inspiration from the F-One International Team and their incredibly well produced movies – pick any one of them and your bound to see endless loops, powered wakestyle/freestyle and strapless kiteloop transitions and big air grabs.
Steven shows his worthiness of our praise. We are paying close attention to his hand positions on the bar and kite position as he loops through some sleek crail grabs and jesus walks.

It doesn’t all have to be about kites – afterall there are a plenty of no wind days each year.

The guys over at Bandit9 have us salivating over these tasty treats. Hope they ride as well as they look. A little friendly competition let’s say for our custom gods ‘Deus’. Checkout their fleet – you’ll be sure to see a little bit of H.R Giger in their out of this world designs.
The challenge – find a kite that already exhibits Gold or Silver foiling as part of its design. And if there isn’t one – our prediction is its’ forecast in the years ahead. Look out air traffic control. In the meantime – get some!

In his pursuit of happiness to be the first over thirty – which is way too young to be a grandpa – he wants to be the first to land a blind judge 5. Surely there has to be a 29year-old pro-rider hot on his trail. Be sure to watch all his videos. They are funny up to the point where he realises his fatal mistake. He should have been doing pull-ups!

The ranks are divided on this one. Some female pro-riders take the high road, and others choose to get more bang-for-their-buck by not being shy for the camera. Hannah Whitely knows her way around a shoot and there’s nothing shy about her. There’s some sneaky product placement in this one. What would you do to drive a free car? Either way, there’s a scorching explosion of skill tucked in there.

Something about that French word that gets us thinking when we see these girls in action.

Girls learn to kite faster, and often on the water they are the better riders. We think it comes down to discipline and more focus on technique than battling against the kite with raw power (credit goes out to Iggy). We have a lot to learn from these showdowns. Hope to be see more of this action on our local shores and to be able to pull off a small percentage of what these girls can do in a toned down fun little session.

So the NE’sters are starting to rear their ugly heads and it’s never looked so pretty.

Without a doubt the price point will vary. Not pimping either of these and surely they both stand up to any challenge thrown at them.
