Maybe you don’t need a full lesson or can’t spare the time for a one day course. Maybe you just need some extra skill work. These are perfect for during the week after work.
You may be tired of seeing people at your local progress faster than you, or landing that trick that you have been trying for so long. You may be having trouble riding on your toeside edge, or getting the timing right with your transitions. Practice and time ont he water is crucial for some of the elements of kiteboarding, especially if you don’t come from a boarding background. Pride aside, asking someone where you are going wrong is your best bet. Everybody is always happy to help in this sport. Be patient – you’ll get there. But if that doesn’t work – come to Ride High. We’ll get you there fast. **Disclaimer – it helps to live, breathe and dream kiteboarding especially if you are working on that bag of tricks. Its a split between visualisation and skill when ticking off the checklist to landing a manoeuvre clean and with style. Anyone can land it – the real trick is making it look good.
These are perfect for Summer Daylight savings afternoon sessions. Squeeze one of these into an after-work session. It could be the difference between a good summer and a great summer.
Like all lessons, though, you will have to be flexible to wind conditions. We’ll do our best to get the lesson time right but sometimes mother nature just doesn’t play well. If so we will re-book it to a time that suits.
No wind days for bookings
Kiteboarding is wind dependent. You can plan a day out to a degree. It’s a sport you have to be ready to drop everything for (including work) and charge it when the wind hits and the conditions are right. Trust me, you’ll quickly discover once you’re hooked – there is nothing you’d rather do.
But, if you have booked a lesson and it turns out there’s no wind, you get the option to recap and resume your unused time on another day, or if you prefer can refund any unused lesson time if you can’t manage to come back.

3 DAYS TO LOCKDOWN YOUR TECHNIQUE
Become an independent kiteboarder, with the confidence to continue safely on your own with a buddy launch and landing. The 3 day course gives you ample time to lock-down standing and moving on the board. You will setup and packdown the kit a few times so you will feel safe to set up and go out on your own. We follow the International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) teaching method and aim to reach IKO level 2.

GET A TASTE FOR KITEBOARDINGLearn what kiteboarding is all about. This introduction lesson aims to have you under a kite for most of the lesson. We go through some fundamental learning on the shore. Then we get hands-on and wet. Make sure to bring your gear-to-get-wet-in, rashie if you have one, sun-screen and water - and the rest will be provided. Sure to bring the stoke, this lesson will have you set to be cruising on the water in no time. You'll be itching to get back out there.
